You will have to have several medical tests done 7 days prior to the surgery. You will be given a list of the tests during the consultation.

Surgery

The surgery is carried out under local anaesthesia and lasts 50 minutes.

The result is permanent

The result after the surgery stays unchanged as the time goes by apart from age-related skin alterations.

Recovery

Staying at the in-patient hospital: 2 hours under medical supervision. Control examination after 7 days and, if necessary, after 1 and 6 months.

Return to work

Return to work in 7 days.

Restrictions

During the first four weeks it is not recommended to visit sauna, indoor tanning or gym.

POST SURGICAL RECOVERY

in a modern in-patient hospital

STEP 3

Staying at the in-patient hospital: 2 hours under medical supervision. If necessary, your staying in the in-patient hospital could be prolonged. After the discharge you will be given all necessary medications. Check up examinations are carried out after 5 - 7 days.

Discomfort and painful sensations

During the first few days after the surgery there could be some painful sensations. If necessary, some pain relief medications can be prescribed.

Compression bandage

During the first 2 to 3 days it is necessary to wear a compression bandage. After that, the bandage should be worn only during the night for a week, in order to avoid damaging the healing ear during sleep.

Stitches

Threads are absorbable, a scar is formed throughout 6 months.

Bruises

Bruises and swelling will disappear in 7-10 days.

Scars

After the surgery an almost invisible scar will remain behind the ear and on the pinna of the earlobe.

Final result

It will be possible to evaluate the final result after 6 months.

Payment is performed either by credit/debit card, bank transfer or cash prior to surgery.
